1 medium head broccoli, broken into florets

1 medium head cauliflower, broken into florets

2-3 tablespoons olive oil

salt to taste

good grinds of fresh pepper

juice of half a lemon

Preheat oven to 425F (220C). |

Place broccoli and cauliflower onto a large baking sheet and toss (I use my hands) with 1-2 tablespoons olive oil until well coated. |

Season with salt and pepper and toss again. |

Roast in oven for 25-30 minutes until vegetables are slightly brown on edges and soft when pressed with a fork. |

Plate along with main dish or serve family style, and then optionally squeeze juice of lemon all over for an extra punch of flavor. |
