Ingredients

1 head broccoli cut into florets (or 12 oz broccoli florets)

2 tablespoons olive oil

juice of one lemon

1/2 lemon, sliced in thin rounds

salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 450F. |

Spread the florets on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil then toss the florets in the oil to combine. |

Place lemon wheels around the broccoli florets. |

Place into the oven and roast for 15 minutes. |

Remove from oven and squeeze over the juice of one lemon. |

Place back in oven for at least another 10-15 minutes until charred, checking after 5 minutes. |

Remove from oven and season with salt and pepper. |
