Molten chocolate cakes...you’d think these are h Molten chocolate cakes...you’d think these are hard to make? Well I always thought they required extremely developed baking skills but I was wrong. So wrong I’m making them again tonight 😀

Just a few ingredients- chocolate, butter, eggs, egg yolk, sugar and a little flour create these amazing little desserts! And best of all you can make batter ahead, refrigerate and bake 12 minutes before serving. Hot gooey inside with a slight crust on the outside...warms the heart and just perfect for Valentine’s Day!♥️ Recipe posted on www.tablenspoon.com

For (maybe) the few times you enjoy a large bowl o For (maybe) the few times you enjoy a large bowl of pasta, make it a good one! This pasta alla Norma which is with roasted eggplant, onions and tomatoes topped with ricotta salata is sooooo good! If you are on a low carb diet then make just the sauce and forget the pasta....or add more carbs again and top it on a crusty piece of toasted ciabatta. If you’re going to enjoy some carbs then make sure it’s the best possible!

This is the real color of this no churn raspberry This is the real color of this no churn raspberry ice cream from Yotam Ottolenghi. Yes, that is right, you do not not need an ice cream maker to make this ice cream. And Ottolenghi never disappoints so this is perfect. We are making it today in the table&spoon cooking club but I tested it out last week. It is sooooo good and super easy! Just what you want from a recipe, right?

Since raspberries are NOT in season in this part of the world, don’t even try to source fresh ones, that’s best left for the summer. Using frozen raspberries still result in a creamy, bursting with flavor ice cream that does not require an ice cream maker! One less piece of kitchen equipment for your cupboard, that’s a relief. I do have an ice cream maker and love it but not everyone needs one for the occasional batch. I have not tried other berries for the recipe but imagine it would work just as nicely. Thank you Yotam! This is a real winner. Recipe posted on www.tablenspoon.com

Do you like lemon? How about almonds? This cake ha Do you like lemon? How about almonds? This cake has both and it is Delicious! Tangy lemon curd contrasted with the warm, nutty flavor of almonds create a moist but not too rich dessert. If you use more lemon curd, the center becomes super creamy and the outside cake becomes almost like a crust, and then you could say to was a tart. Recipe on website.

We made this as a dessert after a miso chicken and noodle soup in our table&spoon cooking club. The dessert is ideal any time of year and even better for an afternoon treat with a cup of tea.

This has become one of my all time favorite dishes This has become one of my all time favorite dishes- miso chicken with leeks, broccoli, noodles in a chicken broth. It’s actually more of a floating main course because it is so full of ingredients and hearty in flavor.

I have been trying to make ‘perfect’ donuts with my 13 year old son for the last two weeks. Inspired by our nightly binge watching of The Great British Bake Off @britishbakeoff, we have been working on our donut skills. And sadly it has not gone as well as our time and effort hoped.

This morning my son was ready to give up (after getting up an hour early before school) but I said we will persevere and eventually get it right. And here is our post of this morning’s efforts. Not perfect, not inspiring but beautifully normal. No recipe posted yet....

Can’t decide what to have for dessert? Make a sm Can’t decide what to have for dessert? Make a smorgasbord of little delicious treats. Here I made individual tiramisu with homemade almond and chocolate biscotti along with dried fruits, fresh fruits and we cannot forget chocolates!

We will not be celebrating New Years with anyone but the 5 of us this year and I’m thinking up ideas to make it fun, create interesting foods and most of all have us feel like we are truly celebrating (the end of a very interesting year).

Hope you’re finding ways to make your night special.
